Very yummy, but I recommend NOT chopping up the peppermint crisp bars which is a very messy process and requires a knife and chopping board. Rather, they are EASILY broken up with your fingers while still in the packet! No mess, no fuss! Also, using my 21.5cm square slice tin the white chocolate layer was way too thick and difficult to cut through (my own fault for using a smaller tin). I would make this again, but adjust white choc for my tin next time. Thank you for this recipe, Lauren!

Insanely sweet and delicious. Looks great, quick to make. I used a block of peppermint chocolate with the gooey centre and worked great. I’d forgotten just how awesome peppermint crisp bars are, lovely to rediscover them.

Hi Lauren! Thanks so much for sharing. For the 200g peppermint chocolate, do you mean peppermint crisp chocolate?
Also how should these bars be stored and how long would they last?
Thanks again, from South Africa <3

Hi Natalie, I use the Cadbury Peppermint filled chocolate blocks, however you can use peppermint crip bars too. I keep this slice in the fridge for up to a week. I hope that helps 🙂

Hi Natalie, you could use a mint Aero block, or peppermint-filled squares block. You only need 180g of peppermint chocolate =)

This was so quick and easy for the school cake stall. I replaced the Peppermint Crisp in the slice, for another block of cut up peppermint chocolate pieces, and then sprinkled extra Peppermint Crisp over the top of the slice. Everybody loved it!

Hi Ange, I haven’t tried freezing this one before I’m afraid. I’d just be a little cautious about how the chocolate would go when defrosted.
