Absolutely and let me tell youwhy frozen vegetables in the air fryer are so good:

When you purchase frozen vegetables, they have already been blanched and prepped for you.

They are also often reasonably priced and by having frozen vegetables you can often combat food waste.

By cooking frozen vegetables inthe air fryer, the cook time is often less, and they are often easier to crispwithout ending up burnt.

Frozen veggies in air fryer oftencook better compared to the oven or grill and when you taste air fryer frozenvegetables you will be amazed that they came from the frozen food section ofthe supermarket.

Air Fryer Roasted Frozen Vegetables

Recipe This | Air Fryer Frozen Vegetables (5)

One of the nicest types of air fryer frozen vegetables that I have tried was a pack of Mediterranean vegetables.

I purchased this from my local frozen supermarket and it included mixed peppers, garlic, zucchini, cherry tomatoes and a few other things. It was delicious.

I believe frozen Mediterranean vegetables work best becausethey are soft vegetables and don’t take as long to cook.

Air Fryer Frozen Vegetables Medley

As well as cooking frozen Mediterranean vegetables another great option is to do an air fryer frozen vegetables medley.

I am talking about those bags of frozen broccoli, frozen carrots and frozen cauliflower, that are thrown in the air fryer and cooked together.

To do this I recommend you follow our instant pot frozen vegetables first. That is because its easier and much quicker if your vegetables are cooked already, then you are using the air fryer to make them crispy.

As the biggest problem with the frozen cauliflower and broccoli is that often frozen bags have different sizes and they don’t cook equally.

But by steaming first, you can forget about this problem.

Then air fry them.

If you scroll down to our recipe card below, you will see our air fryer frozen vegetables video. And it will help you decide if you would rather do the Mediterranean veggies or the traditional medley mix.

Notes

Oil. It is assumed that your frozen Mediterranean vegetables have already been tossed in olive oil. If they have not, add a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil and toss it in the vegetables before cooking.

Grill. We use an air fryer grill pan for this air fryer recipe. It gives your air fryer vegetables that grilled look and stops overcrowding and too much oil.

Place the frozen vegetables in a single layer in the basket or directly on the rack. Fry the vegetables for 5 minutes.
